Outreach & evangelism
Hospital visitation, Phoenix postal tracts, school Bibles, and partnerships — the whole church taking the gospel to the whole world.
We believe with Charles Spurgeon that “it is the whole business of the whole church to preach the whole gospel to the whole world.” Outreach is not a side project — it is at the heart of everything we do.
Hospital visitation (Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital)
For many years the Spirit has led us to see MGMH as fertile ground for evangelism.
- When: First two Mondays of every month.
- How: Gospel tracts, Bibles, fruit, and sweets — always seeking to follow the Spirit in speaking of Christ in a sometimes difficult environment. Our confidence is in the name of Jesus.
The hospital team serves a large number of patients each month — by grace alone, to God alone be glory.
Postal tract ministry (Phoenix)
Twenty years ago the Lord gave a vision to place a gospel tract in every home in Phoenix. On the third Tuesday of each month, a postal-style route delivers tracts across different units — tens of thousands of tracts over the years, with more homes still to reach.
Bibles in schools
As doors opened in local schools, FBC became a channel for Bible distribution — in one recent season, hundreds of Bibles to multiple primary schools, with links to Bible Society (South Africa) and Gideons to meet the need. Our vision is to cover every school in Phoenix we can, for His glory alone.
Beyond our borders
We partner with missionaries and projects in places such as Mozambique, seeking to obey Christ’s command to go to the ends of the earth.
